What is a manifesto?

A manifesto is basically your story, it’s the experience of your brand and it articulates what you want customers to know about your values.

5 questions to get you started

  • What do you believe?
  • What is important to you?
  • What are your strengths?
  • What are your passions?
  • What do you stand for?

When we sat down to write, we answered these questions, and came up with plenty of answers. Then we streamlined, rewrote and finessed the most important parts into what we have shared below. Use direct language and really focus on what is important to you – there is no benefit to sugarcoating your values. Honesty is crucial to creating a manifesto that means something.

It extends beyond your mission statement – it’s your brand personality. I like to think of it as your brand x-factor – and the elements that are quintessentially you.
