Knowing how to mark up revisions on a draft design is an important skill to make your life (and your designer’s) a lot easier and less stressful. Follow our info below to cover all the different ways to mark your amendments with ease.
Adobe Acrobat Reader (Mac/Windows)
With Adobe Acrobat Reader you can: annotate PDFs using sticky notes; type text directly onto the page; highlight, underline, or use strikethrough tools; and draw on the screen with the freehand drawing tool. You can get detailed steps on how to use Acrobat’s features here and download here

Microsoft Word (Mac/Windows)

Hand-writing your changes
When yourself in a situation where a computer isn’t handy for marking up your amendments, hand-writing them may be the best option. The main tips to remember are: keep your writing neat and to try to be as specific/unambiguous as possible in your directions.
